by Archynetys News Desk

On Wednesday morning, crime technicians were in place outside an apartment in the center of Bergen.

The police then told BA that they were at the address in connection with a suspicious death. Throughout the day, they have done investigations and worked to notify the relatives of the deceased.

At 15 o’clock Wednesday, the Western Police District came up with an update on the case.

They can tell that the deceased is a woman in the early 20s from Bergen, and they have initiated investigations into the death.

Also present in the apartment were three men of the deceased’s age, ie in the early 20s.

These were brought in by the police and have been questioned as suspected of neglecting the duty of assistance.

“None of them acknowledge criminal charges,” police lawyer Are Nygård Berh told BA.

When asked if they are known to the police before, the police lawyer replies that he does not want to comment on it.

No suspicion of murder

The men gave an explanation and were then released.

– It is not suspected that the deceased has been killed and there is nothing to indicate that the suspects have subjected her to violence or other criminal offenses. We are investigating if they have done enough to help her before she died.

The deceased woman’s relatives have been notified. She will be autopsied during the week.

Before the autopsy, Nygård Bergh does not want to go into what the police think the cause of death can be.

He also does not want to comment further on what met the police in the apartment, beyond the men and the woman.
