Public goods management: strengthened fight against corruption and unhealthy practices
The Government adopted resolution n ° 193/NQ-CP to implement regulations n ° 189-QD/TW of October 8, 2024 of the political bureau on power control, the fight against corruption and unhealthy practices in the management and use of finance and public goods.

Resolution n ° 193/NQ-CP makes it possible to launch an action program which aims to effectively apply the tasks defined in regulation n ° 189-QD/TW, according to the functions of ministries and sectors, by controlling the exercise of state power, by strengthening the effectiveness of public management and by preventing the risks of corruption.
Among the main measures is the complete dissemination of principles, content, methods and responsibilities related to power control and the fight against corruption, as well as awareness of abusive or corrupt behavior in the exercise of functions.
The program strengthens the responsibility of managers, management collectives and persons authorized in the management and use of finance and public goods.
It also provides for the revision and improvement of the mechanisms, policies and laws in force, as well as processes, ethical standards and rules of conduct.
Legal texts will be adjusted to guarantee their consistency with regulation n ° 189-QD/TW, avoiding any exploitable flaw.
The program insists on the exemplarity of managers, transparency, the obligation to account, and the regular practice of self -criticism.
Inspections, controls and audits will be reinforced, in particular internally and by sector, in order to prevent and sanction faults; Emphasis is placed on efficiency and economics in the management of finance and public goods.
The program encourages the improvement of the administrative organization and the construction of competent, honest and devoted staff in the public service.
It provides for the regular rotation of sensitive positions, for the sake of objectivity, transparency and equity, while promoting training and practical experience.
Finally, it guarantees the protection of people who denounce offenses, while sanctioning the reports of reporting or defamatory acts, and by strengthening the measures to prevent corruption and abuse of power.
