condor Takes Flight: Enhanced Connectivity Across europe
Condor, the German leisure airline, is strategically broadening its network of city connections, enhancing travel options for both business and leisure passengers. This expansion includes increased flight frequencies and new destinations, solidifying condor’s position in the competitive European aviation market.

Frankfurt Hub Strengthened with Key City Connections
As of late March 2025, Condor initiated services from its Frankfurt am Main hub to several major European cities, including Munich, Vienna, and Zurich. The inaugural flight to Zurich (ZRH), designated DE4311, marked the commencement of these expanded services. Travelers now benefit from twice-daily flights between Frankfurt and both zurich and Munich, while Vienna is served with a daily flight.
Strategic Vision: Attracting Diverse Travelers
According to Peter Gerber,CEO of Condor, the addition of these routes builds upon the triumphant launch of services to Berlin and Hamburg earlier in March. This strategic expansion aims to make Condor more appealing to a wider range of travelers, including private individuals, business professionals, and those requiring connecting flights. Gerber also expressed enthusiasm about establishing a permanent presence at Vienna and Zurich airports.
After the successful start of our new City flights with Berlin and Hamburg in early March, the Condor City network continues to take shape with the recording of three further connections and as an airline makes us even more attractive for private, business and follow-up travelers.

Modern Fleet and Enhanced Passenger experience
These new routes are serviced,in part,by the modern Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft.Passengers can expect a comfortable travel experience with a two-class configuration, offering both Business Class and Economy Class options. This reflects the airline’s commitment to providing a high-quality service across its network.
Further European Expansion on the Horizon
The launch of flights to Vienna and Zurich represents the initial phase of Condor’s European city expansion. Rome (FCO) and Palermo (PMO) were added on April 5,2025,with daily flights to both destinations. The Palermo route includes a stopover in Rome from Frankfurt. Moreover, flights to Milan (MXP) and Paris (CDG) are scheduled to commence in May, further solidifying Condor’s presence in key European markets.
This expansion comes at a time when the European aviation market is experiencing fluctuating demand. According to recent data from Eurocontrol, air traffic in Europe is projected to increase by 7% in 2025, highlighting the potential for growth and the importance of strategic route advancement for airlines like Condor.
