Chemnitz – Sometimes life in the forest is anything but calm. Chaos, relationship problems and poachers can cause a lot of confusion.
And as the saying goes: he who laughs last laughs best.
But it’s also lucky that the Boulevard Theater Dresden performed “Mr. Förster, your shotgun is banging!” on March 27th. performed in the Chemnitz town hall.

What do a desperate forester, his naughty daughter, a nudist lake and a poacher have in common? The answer can be found in the comedy “Mr. Förster, your shotgun is banging!”, which was released on March 27, 2026 can be seen in the Chemnitz town hall.
What’s it about?
Karl-Eduard von Schniedenschütz just wants peace in his territory, but a poacher, marital problems and his cheeky daughter make everything complicated. Even the otherwise peaceful forest lake is suddenly full of nudists and chaos.
Then a criminal investigator shows up looking for a con artist in, of all places, the forester’s district. And when Mrs. Leutheuser-Schnarrenthal asks about her childhood sweetheart, old Holzmichl, the confusion becomes complete.
To make matters worse, Förster’s daughter spends time with his archenemy, the poacher. Now Karl-Eduard has to be careful that his shotgun doesn’t go off in the wrong place.

Some people may have already noticed that this comedy is not for children. With wild love confusion, nudist chaos and lots of slapstick, “Mr. Förster, your shotgun is banging!” clearly aimed at an adult audience.
Young people under 18 are only allowed in if accompanied by a parent; unfortunately, everyone under 16 is not allowed in. And the rest? Just look forward to a turbulent, cheeky and absolutely humorous performance.
