Salud Colsubsidio reaffirms its commitment to quality and innovation in health by receiving the Bronze certification as a High Performance Clinical Unit (UCAD)and international recognition which endorses the implementation of the European EFQM model of excellence.
The prize was awarded to Contact programan initiative focused on early detection and timely treatment of breast cancer. This program has established itself as a national benchmark for its ability to integrate advanced technology, specialized human talent and humanized care, guaranteeing more agile, safe and patient-centered processes.
This project contributed to Colsubsidio was recognized as the most innovative company in Colombia, by leading the ANDI Business Innovation Ranking, thanks to the reengineering the breast cancer diagnosis process. These recognitions reaffirm the impact of the program on the lives of thousands of people, reflecting Salud Colsubsidio‘s commitment to offering comprehensive, humane and personalized care to those who need it.
Currently, ConTacto treats between 30 and 35 new cases of breast cancer each month, strengthening its impact on timely detection and significantly contributing to improving clinical outcomes and patient experience. Thanks to its agile and person-centered care model, it has achieved reduce diagnosis times from 43 to 12 daysan efficiency that translates into time gained from the disease.
The services of this program are offered primarily in the 63rd Street Specialist Center and the Colsubsidio Health Oncology Clinicwith highly qualified multidisciplinary teams that accompany each stage of the process: from suspicion to post-treatment follow-up, integrating medical care with psychological support, palliative, social and educational care.
