Comcast Corporation has connected the first homes and businesses in Cheney to symmetrical multi-gigabit Internet via America’s smartest, most reliable converged network. In collaboration with the City of Cheney, Comcast’s network expansion project will connect nearly 3,000 homes and businesses throughout the year. Residents can visit Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses for additional details on construction timelines and service availability.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Comcast’s most recent expansion in Cheney is part of the company’s latest investment in Spokane County. Last month, Comcast announced that it has completed its network expansion in three underserved areas of Spokane County.
These projects bring high-speed, reliable, symmetrical internet from America’s smartest, most reliable converged network to more than 2,200 homes and businesses in Chattaroy, Four Lakes and Medical Lake. Comcast brings its full suite of Xfinity residential services to Cheney, including high-speed internet, streaming, mobile, voice and home security, delivering connected and reliable experiences for today’s consumers, whether at home or on the go.
