Key responsibilities

• Client Support: Coordinating with Portfolio Management to introduce clients to Client Engagement services, assessing client needs, and maintaining ongoing dialog.
• Program Development and Implementation: Creating new initiatives to address market trends, developing business education programs, and identifying topics for executive leadership series.
• Business Development, Outreach, and Partnerships: Representing PIDC at industry events, developing outreach strategies for diverse business communities, and collaborating with governmental and private organizations to expand business support services.

Qualifications and Experience: What PIDC is Looking For

PIDC is seeking candidates with a strong background in economic development, small business lending, or management consulting. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Business Governance, Community and Economic development, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of professional experience in economic development, small business lending, or management consulting.
• Experience working directly with small business owners.
• Experience planning outreach events.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and video conferencing platforms.
• Residency: Candidates must be residents of Philadelphia or willing to relocate within six months of employment.
