Chuando Tan’s Favorite Sports Tips
According to Tan, the key to staying young and living a long life is a healthy lifestyle and diligent exercise. He admitted to having ‘clean eating’, such as consuming clear fish soup with white rice.
In another video clip, Tan reveals scientific research on the benefits of regularly jumping rope.
“According to scientific research, consistently jumping rope for at least 15 minutes a day can significantly extend our lifespan,” he said.
“Repetitive up-and-down movements not only help tone our internal organs, slow age-related sagging and increase metabolism, but also burn fat around the organs,” he continues.
Tan said that over time, these habits will produce a healthier and stronger body. Based on research in 2013, jumping rope does have health benefits.
Jumping rope for 10 minutes per day for six weeks provides incredible benefits, which are the same as jogging every day for 30 minutes. Other benefits include maintaining bone density, a healthier heart, and reduced anxiety.
Tan also shared his main youthful tip, namely doing regular compound exercises with weights.
“Squats, lunges, bench presses and pull-ups train several muscle groups at once,” explained Tan.
“Studies show this time-effective routine helps burn more calories, improves and builds inter-muscular coordination, strengthens the body’s core, and builds muscle mass,” he adds.
Apart from that, Tan also regularly maintains healthy skin. Therefore, he emphasized the importance of exposure to vitamin D but not to the point of damaging the skin.
However, he said the most important thing of all is maintaining a positive outlook. About life as ‘mindset plays an important role in shaping one’s life path’.
