The Puerto Rican singer Christian Daniel and his partner, the former game show model “Puerto Rico gana”, Stephanie Font They anticipate a great Christmas, since it will be the first festive season that their beloved baby, Sebastian, will be able to fully enjoy.
The couple’s firstborn, one year old, was barely a month old at Christmas 2024. He was a newborn and they were first-time parents. However, now the infant is a walking explorer and that fills the couple with excitement because they will be able to celebrate the arrival of Santa and the Three Wise Men as a family.
Little Sebastián, with pink cheeks, touches everything he sees, he is a child who loves to explore, he does not miss and runs from one place to another. “He is a happy child and you will always see him laughing,” says the proud mother during the photo session with El Nuevo Día.
“The first year of being parents is challenging, because it is not the same as taking care of my sister’s nephews. Sebastián got up every two hours and Stephanie had a cesarean section and was in pain, so that first Christmas was one of challenges and adaptation. It was hard. This year is different because it will be the first in which Sebastián opens gifts, discovers things. We are happy and blessed with the arrival of the baby. Parenthood is rewarding and although it is draining, this is the best thing that has happened to me: being able to have a family,” shares the singer.
For the owner of the beauty salon, the arrival of her son is a first for everyone, since he is the first child and grandson for her family. The madness and love of the grandparents is outstanding on the part of both families.
“Everyone in the family is going to enjoy this Christmas with Sebastián because he is the only baby and grandson and we are happy that he is a happy child and that he is healthy. We want to instill that family unity from a young age,” says the mother.
As parents, you want to promote the same values that your parents instilled in your young child. In their case, they celebrate Christmas between the metropolitan area and the west since Font’s family is from that area. The important thing during this holiday period is to be with your loved ones and be grateful for everything you have experienced as a family.
“This Christmas and in 2026 I ask for blessings for me and my family. For me to be able to bless them, Stephanie and Sebastian, my priority is them and if they are well I am well. May they be in good health. Now I can not only think about myself, I have them and I am the head of the home, although Stephanie works tirelessly. But at the end of the day I was raised so that my wife and my son would lack for nothing. It is my duty and that is “What I ask of 2026 is to allow me to count blessings for them and for my family,” the artist mentions.
The singer’s wife points out that next year she envisions an expansion of services for her business, since she has a beauty salon in San Juan and another in Mayaguez.
“On a work level we are going to have an area of medical services in aesthetics and on a personal level I ask for health for the baby and for everyone in the family,” adds the businesswoman.
For Christian Daniel, fatherhood has left his vulnerability more exposed when it comes to composing and writing. “I’m more emotionally vulnerable. It awakened something in me that I didn’t have before when it came to writing and it’s not necessarily that I’m going to write about a father or a son, but that by being more vulnerable I can let go and release more ideas,” comments the voice of “Now that you’re leaving.”
His recent song, “Canto,” a collaboration he made with Cuban exponent Lenier, was written before his son’s arrival, but was completed this year. Christian Daniel is very happy and satisfied with the message of the song, which is inspirational.
“It’s a song that not only talks about you as a person when you fall and get up, but it talks about the world… about the things we see in wars, about children who go hungry and many of these things we see on social media and what we have to be beyond being spectators is to be empathetic. Sometimes we see things and we feel sorry but we don’t do anything and this song seeks to create that empathy. It’s a cry to say; ‘man, there are people here who need us’, let’s help. It’s also valid to shout and say Today I can’t, we have to live the process and not repeat the mistake,” he explains.
The singer hopes to release a new song at the beginning of next year, but he has not yet decided what it would be given several proposals he has in mind.
At the work level, 2026 envisions it with new music, creating from the studio, adding presentations and artistic collaborations.
