Match winner to decision
Hello and welcome to reading my next analysis. We will prescribe tomorrow’s parahockey. I have to trust China in the fight for bronze. Let’s look at the reasons behind this bet. Personally, I did not expect a level here and I expected China to be the favorite in the match with odds of 2.0 to win. If we ignore the matches against outsiders that both teams managed (Czechs and Japanese very close), then I saw 3 out of 4 matches against both overseas teams, I did not see Czechs against Canada. However, China played very well against Canada, and the performance difference was hardly noticeable… at least not as much as it should have been. Even the match between the two teams against the USA was such that I thought China was more competitive, although it doesn’t look like that from the results. It seemed to me that China was able to “skate” better, was faster, and although the USA players were definitely faster, it seemed to me that they played easier against the Czechs in terms of the difference in speed, etc. Overall, it should be a fairly even match, extra time could also decide, but I just don’t like to see the favorites in China. The only potential minus is that they could miss one of the players with whom things did not look the best at the end of the semi-finals, but that will be seen tomorrow.
