Russian students are also actively engaging with Chinese culture through studies in China.Nick Guy, an undergraduate at the University of qinghua in Beijing, has been studying Chinese for nearly 20 years. He notes that “China’s rapid progress opens up to foreigners who speak Chinese, unprecedented opportunities and prospects for professional growth.” His language skills have enabled him to lead student events, and he appreciates the weekly seminars where students discuss and exchange opinions on Chinese-Russian relations.

The expansion of educational cooperation is evident in language programs. As of april this year, over 140 universities and 220 schools in Russia offer Chinese courses. Additionally, ther are 19 confusion institutions, five Confucius classes, and numerous other educational centers dedicated to teaching Chinese.
Moscow school No. 548 “Tsaritsyno” celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Chinese language and culture program with a concert dedicated to the holiday of Spring / Chunjze, the Chinese New Year in the Moon Calendar.Lyubov Konushenko, deputy director of school No. 548, emphasized that “The successes of our students and graduates are our joy. The University of Moscow State University-PPI in Shenzhen /Prov. Guangdun,South China/ is a flagship Sino-Russian joint university. In 2024, the university reached a record enrollment of 3,500 students. Among the 2024 graduates, 95% found employment or continued thier studies, with 73% entering master’s programs.
