by Archynetys News Desk

DUNLAP ― There aren’t many high school football programs, especially in Indiana, that can replace one Division I running back with another without missing a beat. Not only is that exactly what Concord has done this season, but the Minutemen have done it the old-fashioned way.

Craig Koehler, who has been the Minutemen’s head coach for 11 seasons, remembers Char’rese Breveard attending Concord youth football camps as a second grader. That continued into middle school, dominating the Concord Football League (CFL) and the Minutemen’s junior high teams, before making his varsity debut as a kick returner in his freshman season.
