Employees on fixed-term contracts, renewable each year, for a maximum period of six years before possibly being eligible for a permanent contract, these fixed-term contracts may not be renewed, by simple decision of management. The AEDs are therefore among the most precarious personnel in National Education. A situation that the strikers wanted to recall through this mobilization.
