The Islands Chamber of Commerce prepares the 12e edition of its Éloizes Gala, scheduled for February 7 at the Étang-du-Nord Recreation Center. The meeting, which takes place every other year, brings together members of the organization to highlight the successes of the Madelinot entrepreneurial community.
This will notably be a first event for the new director general of the Chamber, Martin Paquette, who made a point of emphasizing its importance during his appearance on the show. As long as I’m standing.

Changes have also been made to the conduct of the gala.
On the one hand, applications will now have to be submitted by a third party rather than by the entrepreneurs themselves. The finalists and winners for each category will then be chosen by a jury. According to Martin Paquette, this was a request made by many members of the Chamber of Commerce as well as other partners of the organization. He also believes that a price “.has more value when you receive it without asking for it.».
On the other hand, a trophy Jury’s favorite will now be awarded.
Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of January.
