The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that it will dispatch an official observation team to CES 2026, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition, to be held in Las Vegas, USA, starting on the 6th (local time).

Through this CES visit, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to directly inspect global technology trends such as artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, robotics, and healthcare, and explore strategies to support Korean companies’ response to future industries and entry into the global market.

This year’s CES will be held under the theme of ‘Innovators Show Up.’ The main topic is so-called ‘Physical AI‘, which combines artificial intelligence with real industries such as robots, mobility, and home appliances, and the implementation of technology in real life. In particular, it is expected that industrial application and commercialization cases of generative AI will be intensively introduced.

About 1,000 domestic companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies, participate, along with Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, LG Electronics, and Doosan. Korea has maintained the record of winning the CES Innovation Award as the country with the most AI-based innovative technologies for three consecutive years.

Participating in this observation group representing the local business community include Yang Jae-saeng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Choi Jae-ho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce, Kim Jin-dong, Chairman of the Sejong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Park Dong-min, Executive Director of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They plan to inspect global technology trends by attending CES and strengthen the private economic cooperation network through exchanges with major businesspeople.

After visiting CES, we will visit global big tech companies such as NVIDIA, Apple, Google, and Meta in Silicon Valley to take a first-hand look at the cutting-edge technology ecosystem and industrial sites.

Park Dong-min, executive director of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “With the global industrial paradigm shift accelerating, CES and Silicon Valley are the first places where global technological change trends can be seen.” He added, “Through this visit, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with regional chambers of commerce, will prepare practical support measures to help small and medium-sized businesses secure technological competitiveness.”
