A chase took place on Saturday in Brussels between police officers and a driver who had driven in the wrong direction, the Brussels prosecutor’s office said on Saturday morning. The driver was deprived of his liberty and is being prosecuted for attempted murder. The latter was under the influence of narcotics.
“Around 7:40 a.m., a vehicle was driving in the wrong direction on Boulevard Botanique“, said the prosecution. “When a police vehicle wanted to carry out a check, it fled at very high speed. A chase then began.”
