The British-American model and writer tells Vanity Fair That her marriage to Bruce started to sink in all kinds of problems. “We once had so much fun in our marriage, in our relationship. But romance disappeared more and more in the background,” she says. “I thought that Bruce was strange to do. Also aloof. He constantly did otherwise against me. I didn’t know Bruce like that. It sometimes seemed like a stranger was standing in front of me.” Yet she did not want to give up immediately. “In every relationship there are ups and downs, especially if you have been married for a long time. It might also be because of the work, that Bruce sometimes so down was?”

The couple married in 2009. They have two daughters together: Mabel (13) and Evelyn (11). Willis also has three older children from his marriage to Demi Moore. “One day the situation escalated. I started to convince myself that Bruce no longer loved me, and had changed into someone with whom I no longer wanted to be married. I knew something was wrong, but couldn’t put the finger on what that was.”
First she resorted to a friend to talk about the situation, and he advised her an investigation with the doctor. Not much later the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia came to light. Willis immediately ended his film career in 2020. In the meantime, Bruce no longer lives at home, because the dementia is so advanced that he needs guidance and care. He sets it right under circumstances.
