Basketball Bundesliga team Veolia Towers Hamburg has signed wing and center player Martin Breunig. As the still winless bottom of the table announced, the move from French first division club SLUC Nancy to the Hanseatic city should be completed at the beginning of November.
«We were looking for experience and physicality in order to strengthen ourselves in the big positions and be deeper. Martin brings exactly these attributes with him. I’m really looking forward to our collaboration,” said Towers coach Benka Barloschky about Breunig.
The 33-year-old won the German Cup with the Central German BC last season. The 2.03 meter man then moved to France.
