by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Team USA defeated Canada in the men’s gold medal i ice hockey at the 2026 Winter Olympics, and the White House posted a video on TikTok where AI was used to vote Over Brady Tkachukwhere the player said “they booed our national anthem, so I had to come out and teach those maple syrup eating idiots a lesson. Canada, we own you, little brother“.

Of course, Brady never said that, and in an interview with his first NHL game for the Ottawa Senators after the Olympics, he said that “It’s obviously fake, because it’s not my voice, not my lips that are moving. I don’t have control over any of those accounts”.

“I know those words would never come out of my mouth, so I can’t do anything about it. That’s not what I said. I would never say that. That’s not who I am” (via BBC ).

Here’s the video the White House posted on TikTok:

Team USA’s players apologize to the women’s team for laughing at Trump’s joke

This AI video was far from the only controversy following Team USA’s overall victory in ice hockey, as the women’s team also won gold. But when Trump called the men’s team he made a sexist joke and said he would also have to call the women’s team or he “would probably be impeached”.

The controversy grew when some male players laughed at Trump’s joke, but the women’s team captain Hilary Knight played the controversy on their male counterpart, saying there is “a genuine level of support and respect overshadowed by a quick mistake”.

Many of the players who laughed later apologized, and Tkachuk’s brother Matthew Tkachuk said both teams are very close and supportive. “We love the women’s team and the women’s team loved us, and we are so proud that we took home all the gold medals.”
