An unfortunate fact shocked the Cap Foundation community, in the Tocuyito parish, Liberator Municipality of the Carabobo state, when a 5 -year -old boy lost his life after falling into a sewage drainage system.
According to versions contributed by witnesses, the child was playing with his brother in a street with slope when one of his sandals slipped to the vicinity of a sewage duct. When trying to recover it, the little one fell to the sewer in the middle of intense rain.
Immediately, relatives and neighbors notified the situation to security agencies. Civil Protection Commissions, Carabobo Firefighters, Firefighters of the Libertador municipality and volunteers were deployed in a wide search operation that extended for several kilometers through the drainage channels.
The deployment went to La Bermeja Caño, where the child’s body was finally found, approximately one kilometer away from the place from the fall.
