Blue and 17 British and Australian men, aged between 19 and 40, were taken by police after a raid on a studio in the city of Badung. Some cameras, outfits, a box of condoms, lubricant, Viagra pills and her ‘Bangbus’ were seized. She would drive around Bali in that vehicle to look for ‘Schoolies‘, Australian young people who have just finished high school and are spending their summer holidays in Bali.

Arif Batubara, police commissioner in Badung, confirmed that the eighteen people had been arrested. This happened after a report from a local resident who suspected that ‘pornographic or indecent content’ was being made in the studio. Porn is prohibited by law in Indonesia, and anyone caught risks a fine or even a prison sentence. Blue could also be deported.

The fourteen Australian men who were taken by the police have now been released without charge. They were interrogated as witnesses and then allowed to leave. Further investigation is underway into three Britons and Bonnie Blue herself. They have not yet been officially charged.
Not welcome in Australia
Last year, the porn actress was denied entry to Australia after she also planned to look for ‘Schoolies’ there. After a petition gathered tens of thousands of signatures, the government revoked her visa. They ruled that a standard tourist visa was not sufficient as Blue intended to carry out a “commercial activity” in the country. The revocation of that visa also meant that she will no longer be allowed to enter the country in the coming years.
