Milan and Paris Men’s Fashion Week 2025 reminded us that the streets—not the runways—are where the real fashion moments happen. And this season, Black showgoers, creatives and celebs made sure their style was front row, even if their seats weren’t.
In Milan, tailoring took a relaxed turn with breezy linen suits, embroidered coats and exaggerated silhouettes. But it was the Black fashion crowd who really added texture to the scene—models off-duty in layered neutrals and bold jewelry, stylists in crisp shirting with unexpected pops of color, and editors treating the sidewalks like personal lookbooks. The vibe was effortless cool with purpose.
Over in Paris, the energy reached another level. Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a surprise appearance at the Louis Vuitton menswear show, turning heads in Western-inspired denim and sleek leather looks that matched their Cowboy Carter aesthetic. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky stepped out in coordinated, oversized menswear pieces—Rih in slouchy slacks and pearls, Rocky in light denim and a pink bag—proving yet again that they’re the most stylish couple alive. The very next day, they returned with baby Riot, who wore a mini moto jacket and stole the show at Rocky’s AWGE debut.
Inside and outside the venues, Black creatives, stylists and fashion students brought out everything from vintage Raf to local Black-owned brands. Think layered skirts over trousers, custom jewelry, patent boots, and braids styled like crowns. This wasn’t just about flexing labels—it was about being seen, documented and remembered.
Whether front row or posted up on the steps of Palais de Tokyo, Black style at Men’s Fashion Week wasn’t an accessory—it was the main event. The clothes said what needed to be said: We’ve always been the blueprint. Now we’re the whole mood board.
