Singer-songwriter Billy Joel has announced the cancellation of several upcoming concert dates. This decision follows a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), a neurological disorder that can affect cognitive and motor functions.

Earlier this year, “Piano Man” Billy joel had already postponed several performances due to an undisclosed medical issue. now, those shows have been officially canceled as the musician focuses on his health and recovery.

In a statement released by his team, it was revealed that “This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance.” the statement further explained that “Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.”

Impact on Tour Dates

The canceled concerts include performances scheduled across North America and Europe. Ticketholders will receive automatic refunds for the affected shows.
