Get ready for a vibrant summer in Bernau am Chiemsee! From May 14th to September 3rd, 2025, the Kurpark will transform into a lively hub for music lovers of all ages. The highly anticipated picnic concerts are back, offering free musical entertainment every other Wednesday evening. This year’s series boasts ten local clubs hosting nine unforgettable events.

Diverse Musical Lineup and Local Flavors

The concert series kicks off on May 14th at 7 p.m., with the youth club presenting the energetic rock sounds of The Backbenchers. Throughout the summer, attendees can enjoy a diverse range of musical genres, from classic rock and country to traditional Austrian tunes. The program is designed to appeal to a wide audience, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Beyond the music, the picnic concerts offer a taste of local hospitality. Ten bernau clubs, including newcomers like the water guard, Chiemsee Pass, and the music band, are committed to providing delicious snacks, refreshing drinks, and engaging activities. Admission to the picnic concerts is free, making it an accessible and affordable option for families and individuals alike. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be rescheduled to the following Thursday. The Tourist Info bernau and the participating clubs eagerly anticipate welcoming a large crowd and creating a memorable summer filled with music, camaraderie, and joy.

• June 11: “Bernauer Aufnacht” with the music and traditional costume group of the Bernau Trachtenverein
• June 25: “Tyrolean evening” with the Bernau band and the trade association
• July 9: “Spiel & Dance” with live music of the Magics and the Primary Association of Elementary School
• July 23: “Its about the sausage” with TSV Football and the band Backwood
• August 6: “Schee Schiach and yet Schee” Mask and wall exhibition from the Chiemsee Pass and the band Austrix pure
• August 20: “The young 60´s unplugged” with the band Roosters and TSV ice hockey
• September 3: “Wild, Wild, West” CountryRock and Austropop of the house band and the water guard
