Surprisingly, six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick was not immediately inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
According to information from ESPN The 73-year-old failed in an election on January 13th because he did not receive the required number of 40 of the 50 votes. Last Friday, Belichick was reportedly informed that he would not be part of the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. He is therefore not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, i.e. a member of the Ruhemshalle who will be elected at the earliest possible date.
