AMNÉVILLE – Thermal baths may provide some relief for the persistent symptoms of long COVID, according to a new study in France. Researchers are investigating balneotherapy as a potential treatment to improve the quality of life for those suffering from this complex condition.
Laura becker,36,a “patient” at the Saint-Eloy thermal center in Amnéville (Moselle),describes long COVID as “disabling.” Diagnosed in September, she had been infected six times since December 2021. “Between October and December, I had all the viruses that dragged. I only had a day of respite and I fell sick, it was an endless cycle,” she told AFP.
