ATR 42 Crash: KKP Employee Identified as Victim | Deden Maulana

A team of forensic doctors has succeeded in identifying the bodies of victims of the ATR 42-500 plane which was first discovered in the Mount Bulusaraung area, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel). The body was identified as an employee of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Deden Maulana.

Reported detikSulselmonitoring at the South Sulawesi Regional Police’s Biddokkes, Wednesday (21/1/2026), the victim’s body had been put in a coffin witnessed by the family. The casket is labeled with a number postmortem 62.B.02 in the name of Deden Muliana.

Deden’s body was received directly by his wife, Vera. She appeared to be wearing a hijab and niqab Varna cream.

The South Sulawesi Regional Police’s Biddokkes Team has not yet provided an official statement. The plan is that the South Sulawesi Regional Police will provide a more detailed explanation regarding the results of identifying Deden’s body on Thursday (22/1).

“Just tomorrow,” said one member of the South Sulawesi Regional Police Biddokes Team.

For information, a total of three bodies have been found related to the ATR 42-500 plane crash. Apart from Deden, one body was identified as flight attendant Florencia Lolita Wibisono, while another body has not been identified.
