Athletics: four out of five French relays already qualified for the Games

The French athletics team had a good day at the world relays held in Nassau in the Bahamas on May 4 and 5, qualifying four of its five teams for the Paris Olympic Games. These global relays offer 14 qualifying places for the Games in the five relays contested on the track. Four series were run on May 4 for each discipline: the first two teams in these series qualified directly for the finals on May 5 and for the Olympic Games.
