On the poster were Madcon, the Postgiro building, half priced, return and local Kim Kvamme.

– The crutches are included, so now I become the highest on the dance floor, Sonya Renee boasted on the way into the festival area with Monica Øen.

Åsanesfest is organized for the second year, and is a real strap party in the district.

Local newspaper Åsane Tidende announced that people came all the way from Askøy, not to shop at Ikea, but to listen to half priced.

Åsanfest has established itself as the autumn’s big concert evening in Western Norway and fills the Vestlandshallen with thousands of festive people. In the area you will find a large selection of food trucks, festival toilets, tables & benches, huge bar with wide selection.

Hat -sellers expelled

Inside the festival area we found everything from stiff people, to cowboy hats, costumes and very ordinary outfits.

Also, the bartenders are wearing cowboy hats.

Outside stood a bunch of seller trying to capitalize on the suddenly increased demand for pink cowboy hats.

They quickly got the police on their neck.

BA was sent pictures that the women who sold were led away from the area around the Vestlandshallen.

– It’s a private event, they’re not going to sell anything there, says operations manager Terje Magnussen.

BA has talked to the hat sellers, who did not want to comment on this.

Beyond this, the police were very pleased with how the evening was the last time BA talked to them.

“People enjoy themselves, are happy and behave,” said police officer and event manager Helge Blindheim, adding:

– I believe that this will go well. This is a good offer for the people here. It’s so nice for our district!

– indescribable

The gang of Mai-Lis Hagen, Torild Lundberg and Borghild Maaskant is perhaps Return’s most loyal fans.

They met through the fancy club in 1988, and two years later they stood at their very first concert. Since then, there have been well over a hundred concerts. Now – 35 years later – they are in place in Åsane.

– We have traveled separately from Kristiansand, Arendal and Stavanger to gather for a girl trip, says Maaskant.

– For us, this is a bit like celebrating Christmas. We are the luckiest in the world, and the feeling is very special.

When Return entered the stage, the hands went into the weather and the fans smiled from ear to ear.

– What are you feeling now?

“It’s actually an absolutely indescribable feeling,” Hagen replied.

The girlfriends found their way all the way to the stage.

Inside the hall there was a good atmosphere and high pace.

The Postgiro building lured many from the tables and over to the stage, and when they voted in Idyll, the sing -song also broke out.

Last out on stage was Madcon, which consists of Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam. They were ready for a proper party.

– We are at Åsanfest! It’s a lot of fun, and I have a relationship here – my wife is from Åsane, so I know the area well, we were told by Yosef.

– What do you think of Bergen?

– Bergen is always fantastic. It’s one of the finest cities, and we’ve always got lots of love here. We have played in Bergen for over 25 years so the city means a lot to us

The duo went on as the last evening and had a clear hope:

– We hope people have not started to spew on each other before we go on. But there will be a good atmosphere anyway, Tshawe said, laughing.
