American singer and actress Ariana Grande reveals that she contracted COVID-19, days after being grabbed by an unscrupulous admirer.

The star of Wicked: For Good announced that she had tested positive for COVID-19 as she completed the promotional tour for her new film.
Ariana Grande shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, posting an image from her most recent appearance on the late-night show The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallonaccompanied by the caption: “Moments before COVID”.

Her diagnosis comes just days after the singer was attacked by a fan at the premiere of her latest feature film in Singapore last Thursday.
The man known for his multitude of unwanted contacts with celebrities, Johnson Wen, jumped over the red carpet barriers and ran towards the spotlight.
He threw himself at her before grabbing the singer by the neck and jumping for joy, only to be quickly separated from her by Cynthia Erivo and several security guards.

Security managed to subdue the intruder at the scene and drag him away from the red carpet, according to the video that went viral.
Johnson Wen, aged 26 and an Australian citizen, has since been sentenced to nine days in prison for the attack on the actress by a Singapore court.
According to the Daily Mailboth actresses from the Wicked films, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, have already received positive COVID-19 test results at different times during the filming of the first film.
Due to her positive test, Ariana Grande is reportedly forced to pull out of a pre-taped appearance with Cynthia Erivo on the show The Kelly Clarkson Show.
