The musical “American Psycho” is making a return to London’s Alo -Theatre as part of artistic director Rupert Goold’s final season. Goold commented, “I will resume my American Psycho production, the show with which I inaugurated my assignment in 2013, also to explore what could have changed as then.”

Based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, American Psycho, which also had a Broadway run in 2016, centers on Wall Street trader and serial killer Patrick Bateman, who hides his violent tendencies behind a facade of success. The musical features a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik.

Casting details are yet to be announced, leaving the return of original stars like Matt Smith, Lucie Jones, Katie Brayben, Jonathan Bailey, and Susannah Fielding unconfirmed. The show is scheduled to run from January 24 to March 14, 2026.
