Sullivan, affiliated with Fellowship Baptist Church in Tennessee, was allegedly seized at gunpoint during a church service in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, earlier this week.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that a group of armed men stormed the Fellowship Baptist Church,specifically targeting Sullivan. Rev. Jeremy Hall, a spokesperson for the Sullivan family, indicated that the assailants appeared to no Sullivan by name. They reportedly forced him into his own vehicle, a Toyota, and fled the scene. The vehicle was later discovered abandoned roughly a mile from the church.
