A study conducted by Norwegian scientists revealed that the NAD+ molecule reverses memory loss due to Alzheimer’s disease.
The NAD+ molecule, which has become popular in recent years among anti-aging supplements, has become a ray of hope in the treatment of Alzheimer’s. A new study conducted by the University of Oslo in Norway and published in the journal Science Advances found that a supplement that naturally increases NAD+ levels normalizes memory skills in mice. It was observed that in mice subjected to genetic changes similar to Alzheimer’s disease in humans and experiencing ‘forgetfulness’, the deterioration in brain cells was stopped and normal levels were reached in memory tests by administering a substance containing NAD +.
