Alwi Farhan Wins: Indonesia Claims Title!

The badminton event is over Indonesia Masters 2026. Host Indonesia won one title from the BWF Super 500 tournament.

At Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday (25/1/2026), the series of matches began with a duel in the women’s singles number. Chen Yu Fei from China won in two straight games against Pitchamon Opatniputh (Thailand).

In the next final, the mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei (Malaysia) won on comeback after falling behind to the Danish pair Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje.

Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan from Malaysia won the women’s doubles title with a WO victory over Arisa Igarashi/Miyu Takahashi (Japan).

Miyu had a fever so she was unable to complete her task in the final round. With this decision, Pearly/Thinaah automatically became women’s doubles champions.

Indonesian Men’s Singles Alwi Farhan then took action in the fourth match final Indonesia Masters 2026. Through two straight games, Alwi won the title thanks to a victory against Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul (Thailand).

In the closing match, the Indonesian men’s doubles pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin had to be satisfied with the runner-up title after losing in straight games to Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin (Malaysia).

With these results, Malaysia won 2 championship titles at the Indonesia Masters 2026. Indonesia as the host had to be satisfied with 1 championship title, just like the title won by representatives from China.
