for 35 years, the group has been performing Comedy, Absurd Theater and Costumbrism. The City Council is actively working to expand industrial land availability to accommodate both existing companies seeking to grow and new businesses looking to establish a presence in Almudévar. Simultaneously, the Council has allocated land to the Aragon government for the construction of rental housing, addressing the growing demand for affordable housing options. These developments include plans for nine 90-square-meter units in one location and twenty-two similar units in another.

Preserving Heritage: Restoring Almudévar’s Castle

Almudévar’s rich history is embodied in its 12th-century castle, a significant landmark that is set to undergo extensive restoration. Thanks to a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Housing and the City Council, a total of €500,000 will be invested in rehabilitating the fortification. The Ministry is contributing €300,000, while the City Council is providing the remaining €200,000.

The restored castle will be integrated into a regional tour of castles, alongside Loarre and Montearagón, further enhancing Almudévar’s appeal as a cultural tourism destination. This initiative not only preserves a valuable piece of history but also contributes to the economic vitality of the region.
