Aleksandra Król-Walas: Promotion Success & Qualifications Achieved

by Archynetys Sports Desk

In the first qualifying run, in which she rode on the red route, the Polish snowboarder achieved the fourth total time of 46.37 s. On the blue route, Aleksandra Król-Walas did slightly worse (46.81 s.) and with a total result of 1:33.18, she took fifth place in the entire qualification.

The second Polish representative, Maria Bukowska-Chyc, did not do well, taking 27th place and therefore she will not be among the best sixteen who will fight for medals from 1:00 p.m.

Without any surprises, the best in the qualifications was the main favorite for the gold medal, Ester Ledecka, who had the best result in both routes. Second place, 0.69 seconds behind, was taken by her compatriot Zuzana Maderova. Third place went to the Japanese, Tsubaki Miki (2.08 seconds behind).
