NEW YORK, KOMPAS.com – Two aircraft collided at taxiway Laguardia Airport, New York, United States (US), Wednesday (1/10/2025).
Taxiway is a path at the airport that functions to connect the runway with various other facilities such as apron, terminal, hangar, and aircraft maintenance area.
The incident involved two endeavor water jet, a subsidiary of Delta, at 21.58 local time, as reported AFP.
The collision occurred when one plane was landing and the other was about to take off, according to a statement from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

The accident made one person taken to the hospital after suffering a life -threatening injury.
The photos shared by the US media showed that one of the jet’s nose was damaged.
Authority said, operations in Laguardia, which is one of the busiest airports in the US, was not disturbed due to the incident.
Meanwhile, Delta reported that one cabin crew also suffered minor injuries.

Delta also stated that he would cooperate with all relevant authorities to review safety steps following the incident.
The company stated, the incident was an accident in low speed.
Citing preliminary information, Delta said the wing of a plane that was about to launch before leaving for “touching” with the body of the plane that arrived.
