On his sporting journey, Luna participated in the 2023 Youth Pan American Games that took place in Colombia and he trained at the National Center for High Sports Performance (Cenard), where he also attended concentrations with athletes and coaches from different parts of the country. “The concentrations are the most beautiful thing because you are with all the kids who play and with highly trained coaches”he pointed out.
Currently, he combines his preparation with I study in Social Work at the Glew tertiary. As distances make it difficult for her to regularly attend Cenard, De Simone trains with her once a week at Alejandro Korn. For the young woman, table tennis meant an important change in her life. “It was a change for the better, emotionally and physically. I met people in the same situation as me, it helped me feel more included,” she said.

Regarding her new international participation, Luna expressed that she feels “calmer and more relaxed” than in her first experience. “I still have those nerves that come when the game is about to start, but afterward everything is fine”he commented.
