Accabadora: Last Mother Concert – Review & Details

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

“Acabar”, in Spanish, means to end. In Sardinian, “Accabadora” is the one who ends: not a murderer, but a compassionate mother who helps destiny to be fulfilled. She is the last mother, the last, intangible and sharp silhouette in Memory.

The show is inspired by the book of the same name by Michela Murgia. Maria, an unwanted child, is adopted by Bonaria, a seamstress and Accabadora, who accompanies the dying on their last journey. Growing up, Maria learns the meaning of death and love: a daily confrontation with the mystery of existence.
