Israel announced that Abu Ubeyde, a spokesman for Hamas‘s armed wing, was killed in an air strike in Gaza.
Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz, X sharing his country’s army and internal security organization Şin Bet’i, “flawless application” congratulated.
Katz did not give details about the time or place of the operation, but the Israeli army had previously shot a “key terrorist” in El Rimal neighborhood on Saturday, August 30, and the Israeli media had news that the target was Ubeyde.
Hamas did not confirm that Ubeyde was dead. In a statement earlier, Israel announced that dozens of civilians were killed and injured in the attacks on a housing in the region.
