Manchester City recruited Gianluigi Donnarumma. Patiently for his young goalkeeper, James Trafford who is also just joining and is believed to be warm up.
Manchester City inaugurated the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma on Tuesday (2/9). City bought it from PSG for 30 million euros or equivalent to Rp 572 billion and contracted five years.

Manchester City at the same time released Ederson to Fenerbahce. But before the arrival of Donnarumma, City had bought a new goalkeeper namely James Trafford.
Trafford has played in the first three matches of the Premier League 2025/26. One clean sheet was recorded, but he conceded four times.
Trafford last season appeared extraordinary with Burnley, carrying his team promoted. He is also young, still 22 years old.
Liverpool football pundit as well as Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher sympathized with James Trafford. For him, the British goalkeeper must be patient.
“If Pep Guardiola and Man City might think of winning the Premier League and the Champions League, currently Trafford is not fully prepared for it,” he explained from Sky Sports.
“Donnarumma has proven himself with the Italian national team to win the European Cup. Last season, he was the winner of the Champions League with PSG,” he continued.
“Donnarumma is clearly the best choice for Guardiola who sells Ederson,” he concluded.
