Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $750 Million; $1 Million Winning Ticket Sold in Queens

Although no one matched all the numbers in the latest drawing,a lucky player in New York is holding a Powerball ticket worth $1 million,according to lottery officials.

the second-prize winning ticket was purchased at a Stop & Shop located in Springfield Gardens, Queens, state officials confirmed. In addition, two third-prize tickets, each valued at $50,000, were sold in Brooklyn and middleport.

The winning numbers from Saturday’s drawing were: 34, 14, 11, 47, 51 and 18, with a PowerPlay multiplier of 2x.

As no ticket matched all the winning numbers, the Powerball jackpot continues to grow, now reaching an estimated $750 million.

The $750 million jackpot offers an annuity option, wich is distributed over 30 years. Alternatively, winners can choose a cash option of $338.6 million.

The next drawing is scheduled for Monday,Aug.25, 2025.
