Furthermore, Casanare is strategically positioned in the deployment of 5G networks, boasting 22 operational antennas.

This is only the beginning of a technological revolution that will reach every corner of the department

The Digital Highway: Laying the Foundation for a Connected Future

The ambitious ‘Digital Highway and Connectivity trunk’ project is at the heart of this transformation. This initiative involves deploying 150 km of fiber optics to connect all 19 municipalities within the department. Each municipality will benefit from a communications node, facilitating the installation of 307 public Wi-Fi access points. These access points, each covering 400 to 500 square meters, will provide free internet access at strategic locations, enabling citizens to engage in online education, access digital services, and foster entrepreneurship without incurring costs. The project represents a collaborative investment of $20,000 million, with contributions of $10,000 million each from the Ministry and the government.

Today we can say, with facts and realities, that Casanare advances towards the digital revolution. Thanks for the 245 computers for Tauramena students, for the Internet joints in forgotten paths, and for the already installed optical fiber, of the 152 km projected. This alliance with the ICT ministry is not only words: it is education for our children, telemedicine for our health positions, and tools to become a tourist and agroindustrial power. This is to close gaps with concrete actions

He chose the maelstrom well when he came here to record, with these landscapes, this culture. That leads us to tell them what public television means, which is the one that is rescuing culture. We are rescuing our customs, we are leading to every corner of the country and what we are. Congratulations to the entire production team, because they succeeded
