by Archynetys Sports Desk

The world will feel the roar of the grid. The NFL has confirmed on Tuesday, May 13, international teams and headquarters for the regular season 2025-26, just one day to reveal the complete calendar of the campaign. Seven meetings outside the United States will mark a new record in the global expansion strategy of American football, consolidating its presence in Europe and South America and premiering unpublished territory Spain.

The great novelty of this edition will be Madrid, which joins the exclusive group of host cities with a duel that promises to fill the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The iconic Real Madrid enclosure will receive its first appointment with the NFL on November 16, with an electrifying confrontation between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders. A milestone that marks the league debut on Spanish soil and that could open the door to future editions in the Iberian Peninsula.

Brazil, who last year housed a vibrant clash between Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers, will repeat as headquarters in 2025. This time, the Los Angeles Chargers will be protagonists in the neo Chemistry Arena de São Paulo on September 5. While the opponent has not yet been confirmed, the rumors point strongly to be the Kansas City Chiefs, which would be officially announced this Wednesday, May 14, together with the general league calendar.

For its part, Germany consolidates its presence on the NFL map. Berlin will host at the Olympiastadion on November 9, with a confrontation between Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons, confirming the sustained interest of the German market in American football.

Ireland adds again to the tour with a confrontation between Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings on September 28, in the legendary Croke Park of Dublin. The British tradition is also maintained: London will house three games distributed between Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The confirmed meetings in England

Los Angeles Rams vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – 19 de octubre, Wembley Stadium

Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns – 5 de Octubre, Tottenham Stadium

Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets – 12 Octubre, Tottenham Stadium

With this distribution, the NFL not only elevates the international regular seasonal games to seven, but also covers five countries and three continents, an ambitious bet that reflects the global popularity of sport and the vision of sustained growth of the League.

The complete calendar of the 2025-26 season will be revealed this Wednesday, May 14 at 20:00 ET (18:00 CDMX / 02:00 of May 15 in Madrid). It will be then when fans will know the exact dates, the Bye Weeks and the great clashes of the campaign … but the world already has a certainty: the NFL will be more international than ever.
