Sheila On 7 Malaysia: Musician Scammed Rp 1.4 Billion

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Jakarta – One of the news that attracted quite a lot of attention at the end of 2025 was about a musician who admitted that he had been cheated out of RM 425 thousand or the equivalent of Rp. 1.4 billion since 2024.

Started wanting to bring Sheila On 7 to Malaysia, but this musician and promoter from the Neighboring State was tricked. It was Ariff Bahran who claimed to be the victim of the fraud.

This story was conveyed by Ariff Bahran in a video uploaded to the Instagram account @capricedaddycap. The video was seen by detikcom on Sunday (28/12/2025).

Ariff is known to be an event organizer from Malaysia who has quite often collaborated with one of the promoters, although he chose not to mention the name of that party.

In his confession, Ariff said that he had transferred a sum of money to someone who claimed to be able to connect him directly with the management of Duta Modjo Cs.

But, promises are just promises. Even though payments are said to have been paid in full since last year, there has never been a clear follow-up regarding Sheila On 7’s concert in Malaysia. The dream that had been built finally foundered in the middle of the road.

The situation is even more infuriating because up to now, Ariff has not yet returned a penny of his money. In fact, according to his confession, the parties involved had promised to return the funds a long time ago.

“I am Ariff Bahran and my colleagues were involved in a fraud case amounting to RM 425 thousand. The event organizer should have brought Sheila on 7 to Malaysia last year to hold a concert. But, in the end, it failed,” said Ariff.

“They agreed to pay back. But until now, our money has not been paid. After one year.”

Not only representing himself, Ariff also said that a number of his colleagues and friends were also affected by this case. In the same video, he tells how much pressure and loss they experienced after feeling cheated.

Until now, Ariff admits that he is still waiting for good faith from the promoter concerned. He also emphasized that the steps to make this case viral were not for the sake of sensation.

“Help me and my friends. We are not making this viral to seek popularity, but so that this case gets public attention and the process can be accelerated. I beg you,” said Ariff.
