The government’s bill on heating voucher and amending some other acts (Sejm print No. 1684) was voted by the Sejm on September 12, 2025, and on September 17 this year. directed to further work in the Senate, which did not make any corrections to him. This is a lower price than the one that results from approved changes in tariffs for electricity by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. A: caring PLN 500/MWh in the period from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.”. As of today – the maximum price mechanism for electricity for households was determined by September 30, 2025.
In 2026, support for electricity recipients in the form of setting the maximum price (i.e. freezing electricity prices) However, there is no longer continued. According to the justification of the bill (determining the maximum price of electricity for the period from October 1 to December 31, 2025) – the analysis of the situation on the electricity market indicates the legitimacy of gradually departing from the support of recipients of this energy. It was initially planned that the final date of using the maximum price should be September 30, 2025, but – “To ensure a full sense of energy security of households” – The project provides for its change on December 31, 2025.
In 2026 and 2027, the so -called curtain supplement (The project involves extending the suspension of its payment from the end of 2025, by the end of 2027). The Ministry of Energy argues that this is dictated – a low amount of the add -on, a limited group of its beneficiaries and the implementation of better solutions to protect electricity consumers in recent years against increases in prices of this energy.
