In an Instagram upload on May 11, Thomas explained that combining smart exercise strategies with the right diet can help you get the ideal body shape.
“3 months to burn fat. If I only had 3 months to lose fat, this is what I would do,” he wrote in his upload as quoted on the Hindustan Times page, Sunday 26 October 2025.

Here’s Thomas Ibidapo’s 3 month fat burning plan:
1. Start the morning with cardio on an empty stomach
Thomas said, walking or jogging for 45 minutes before breakfast can burn fat.

“Believe me, walking quickly on an incline or light jogging for 30-45 minutes before breakfast can burn fat effectively,” he said.
2. Weight training 4–5 times a week
He suggests focusing on compound movements such as squats, deadlifts and bench presses because they can burn more calories while building lean muscle.
3. Adjust your protein intake
According to Thomas, aim for a minimum of 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight because “protein keeps you full longer and helps maintain muscle mass during the fat-burning process.”
4. Get used to taking cold showers
Thomas added that cold showers are uncomfortable, but they can help increase metabolism and speed up fat burning.
5. Try the intermittent fasting method
Intermittent fasting or intermittent fasting has been proven to help you lose weight while improving blood sugar control.
“Skip breakfast or limit eating to 6–8 hours each day to help control calorie intake,” says Thomas.
