Zlatan Ferrari: £50 Million Supercar Purchase

Now Zlatan has struck again. And this time it is a real ward he gives himself in a birthday present. Ferrari’s new hyperbil with – hold you now – 1200 horsepower.

Zlatan holds in his swindling tradition. Gives himself a new super car as a gift every year. Sometimes it has been a Porsche – but usually a Ferrari. And this year there is a real ward that takes place in Ibrahimovic’s garage. Zlatan has turned on the successor to LaFerrari and Enzo. On his instagram he reveals that he bought a Ferrari F80. It is Ferrari’s new hyperbil that is only made in 799 copies.
“Science fiction is the inspiration for the car,” said Ferrari’s design manager Flavio Bertoni when it was presented.

The Ferrari F80 is the seventh generation of Formula 1-inspired super sports cars from Maranello. The first was 288 GTO and most recently we saw Ferrari LaFerrari. It should only be manufactured in 799 copies so Zlatan does not have to be too worried about meeting the same on the road.
– Happy Birthday to Zlatan, wrote the star as usual when he presented the super purchase.

But unlike their former siblings like Enzo and LaFerrari, the F80 does not have the brand’s mythical V12 engine. Instead, just like on the new Formula 1 cars, you have a V6 that gets help from three electric motors, together it provides the powerful 1200 horsepower. In order to keep the center of gravity as low as possible in the car, the engine is mounted incredibly low. The top speed is over 350 km/h and the car makes 0-100 km/h in 2.15 seconds.

The weight of the block has been reduced by using titanium and revising the cylinder block and crankcase, for example. The block weighs as much as the V6 in 296GTB, but gives 237 hp more, to say the least impressive F80 weighs 1,525 kg. Apart from the electric motors in the front axle, the car is approximately 75-100 kg lighter than the rear-wheel-drive LaFerrari.

The price tag on the car is said to be around SEK 50 million. For that money, Zlatan could have been able to get something even more unique. A Koenigsegg from the home landscape Skåne. But who knows what next year’s birthday offers.
