Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky and Turkish President Reggie Tajip Erdogan have discussed further security guarantees in Ankara on Thursday, especially in the Black Sea, as well as the renovation of Ukraine with the participation of Turkish companies.
The leaders of both countries met one -on -one, as well as in an expanded format. The Presidents discussed further security guarantees in detail, in particular regarding the safety of civil vessels in the Black Sea.
Zelensky thanked the Turkish President for their efforts to organize direct talks in Ukraine and Russia, and support for a complete, unconditional ceasefire, long -term and sustainable peace.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation with the coalition of supporters of Ukraine and the implementation of the proposals developed. Zelensky also thanked Turkey for its readiness to ensure ceasefire, especially at sea. Particular attention was paid to the sea in the Ukrainian, Turkey, Bulgarian and Romanian activities.
During the meeting, other important topics were also discussed, such as the renovation of Ukraine and the participation of possible Turkish companies in the process. Special attention was paid to the preparation of international conferences on the renewal of Ukraine, scheduled for the preparation of 10 and 11 July in Rome. It will also be represented by Turkey.
Zelensky and Erdogan also discussed the development of bilateral cooperation between countries, especially in the defense sector.
