Zara Lace Dress Winter: Styling Tips & Outfit Ideas

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

A satin dress with fine lace details from Zara makes many fashion fans gasp. For example, under the video by creator Lina.empson, which shows the must-have and already has 41,000 views: “I need it in my life”, “10/10”, “Stunning”, “I’m obsessed with the look” or simply “Wow”.

What constitutes the current object of desire? The asymmetrical cut, the delicate lace applications, the V-neck and the narrow straps. Sounds simple, but it’s surprisingly versatile – that’s exactly why the viral top is currently going through the roof everywhere.

What do you think of viral fashion trends like this Zara dress?

In winter the lace dress is worn over trousers

Fashion fans were already raving about the lace dress in the fall, and now it’s back in stores. And even when it gets cold and gray outside, the airy briefs can still be showcased: worn over jeans or trousers, they become part of the trendy layering look and peek out cheekily from under a jumper.

But the other way around – when the long-sleeved top sits under the spaghetti straps – the look takes on a glamorous touch. Then either a shirt, T-shirt or a tight-fitting long-sleeved shirt will work well.

Lace dresses and tops are currently not only available at Zara. The style can be found in various stores and online shops. Even influencers on Instagram and Tiktok don’t necessarily rely on the original, but are increasingly styling shorter versions or models with less asymmetry from other brands.

A trend for short women?

But not everything is perfect about the viral dress. Because the asymmetrical cut oscillates between mini and midi, the dress turns out very differently depending on your body size. In many Tiktok videos you can see that it tends to be short for taller people. A user asks under a video: “The length is ☠️☠️☠️. Why do they hate us big girls so much?”

Lina.empson’s post also says: “Zara simply hates everyone who is taller than 1.65 meters.” Another user commented that she was 1.70 meters tall and could only wear the dress with trousers underneath.

While most people celebrate the viral lace dress, others wouldn’t wear it in everyday life. “I would feel like I was walking around in a nightgown,” writes a follower of Lina.empson under another clip. That makes sense: In the Zara online shop, the slip dress is listed under the lingerie category.
